Publications primarily include permanent collection catalogues 1888-1921 and later temporary exhibition items. Prefaces describe the history of the Layton Art Gallery formation. Photographs date ca. 1888 through 1957, documenting the Layton's facade, galleries and portraits of Frederick Layton and Edwin C. Eldridge, first curator of the Layton Art Gallery.
